Wild Horses Festival returns in 2026 for our 10 year anniversary — back in the stunning wild lands of Carapooee West, the traditional home of the Dja Dja Wurrung peoples.

It feels surreal writing that. Ten years.
Wild Horses started out like a curious young horse — wandering in engagement parties through vineyards, then charging up into the mountains, learning its legs, finding its rhythm, getting faster and wilder with every run. And then it found home… here in Carapooee. For the last six years this land has held our most beautiful moments — the kind you remember months later like a dream you don’t want to wake up from.

This is Australia’s premium psychedelic gathering — a weekend where the music, art and people all blur into one big, glowing, kaleidoscopic journey. Sunsets that hit you in the chest. Nights that turn into full-blown spaceship missions. Mornings where you’re laughing with strangers who somehow feel like family. Workshops and spaces to reset the body, open the mind, and drop back into yourselfI And most important a community of wild horsies who show up with big hearts, open arms, and free smiles

We keep it quality over quantity, and we hold the line on community and respect. We leave no trace, we look after each other, and we treat the land like the sacred place it is.
